Job Description:
Intertek India Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a talented QA Engineer who has passion for testing mobile applications with previous testing experience on J2ME,BREW, Symbian, Windows Mobile/Andriod platforms. Software Application tests include UI, functional and regression tests, device compatiblity tests, stress/performance tests, interoperability tests, language/localization tests, automated tests and others.
Key Responsibilities:
• Test mobile commercial applications across multiple handsets adhering to carried standard checklist.
• Document results of testing and report any defects in a clear and comprehensive manner.
• Communicate and follow up any defects with the developer of the software.
• Actively investigate interesting new tools and techniques
Experience:
• B.E. /B.Tech. /M.C.A. / or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in Mobile Application and/or Automated/Manual Software Testing.
• Programming knowledge in C/C++ and Unix
• Exposure to Windows Mobile Software development will be an added advantage
• Should understand all the levels of Software Development Life Cycle.
Other Skills:
• Ability to effectively interact with Manager, Team Leader, and fellow team members.
• Proactive, great attention to detail, results-oriented problem solver, critical thinker, and ability to meet aggressive deadlines
• Passion for testing mobile applications and finding bugs.
• Excellent oral & writing communication skills.
• High proficiency using automated test tools to conduct QA testing
